I remained a prisoner until the surrender in 1865 when I was paroled at Vicksburg Mississippi. No Papers.

Re-enlisted as Lieutenant in May 1862 at Charleston, South Carolina in 22nd South Volunteer Company H and continued until 186? when, after the surrender, my Company was dismissed.
