Charles Hall

Mr. Hall was born September 1, 1854 in the community of Montpelier, near present-day Blackshear. His parents were Young Charles Hall and Cornelia (Earle) Hall. He married Mattie Jernigan on November 19, 1878. Mr. Hall was a lawyer, a Baptist, and a member of the Freemasons and the Knights of Pythias. Mr. Hall served as the Circuit Court Clerk of Baldwin County from 1886 unitl 1892 and probate jusge from 1892 until 1904. ⁽¹⁾
