Glass-Vail

 

Of interest in Anniston is the marriage of Miss Mary Adelaide Vail, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Vail of Bay Minette, to Mr. James Amon Glass, Jr. of Anniston.

The ceremony was performed on January twelfth in Columbus, Miss., and the young couple are now residing at Bay Minette, were the bridegroom has a goverment position.

The bride is a member of a well known South Alabama family and attended the University of Alabama, where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Soroity, the Woman's Student Council and the Y.W.C.A. Mr. Glass also has been attending the University and while there took an active part in student affairs. He was vice president of his fraternity, the Phi Sigma Kappa, was a member of the Pershing Rifles, on the Y.M.C.A cabinet and served as publicity manager for the Blackfriars and the Greeks.
