My name is Veneta McKinney and I will be your Fayette County host. Unfortunately I am not from Fayette County - I am from the Marion/ Lamar area. If you have a love of Fayette County history and would like to host this site, please let me know and I can turn it over to you.

I hope to transcribe as much data and get it online as quickly as I can. If you have anything you wish to share, please don't hesitate to send it in.  Our goal is to help you track your ancestors through time by transcribing genealogical and historical data for the free use of all researchers.
We're looking for folks who share our dedication to putting data online and are interested in helping this project be as successful as it can be. If you are interested in joining Genealogy Trails, view our Volunteer Page for further information.  (Enough knowledge to make a basic webpage and a desire to transcribe data is required)

We hope you will consider contributing your Obits, Biographies and Pioneer Family History.
Send your contributions to Veneta

As you are doing your research, don't forget to check out our national items on the front page of the Genealogy Trails website. Very interesting reading!

We regret that we are unable to perform personal research for folks.
All data we come across will be added to this site. We thank you for visiting and hope you'll come back again to view the updates we make to this site.

CHECK BACK OFTEN AS WE ARE CONSTANTLY UPDATING

If you would like to be kept informed of our state and county website updates, subscribe to any or all of our mailing lists
