Greene County Alabama
Greene County was established on December 13, 1819 and named in honor of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene of Rhode Island. Greene County is the least populous county in the state of Alabama. As of 2000 the population was 9,974.
Its county seat is Eutaw.
