RIVERVIEW / R.G. RICHARDS SCHOOL
Was built in 1961. It was named for Dr. Henry Grady Richards who served about 40 years as principal of the Gilbert School
in North Florence. This facility was also referred to as the Riverview Elementary School. It now houses the
administrative office for the Florence City School Systems. (Built at a cost of $325,000, which included grounds and furniture)
