BRYARS, MAMIE D.
Miss Katie Lee Bryars left Friday for Letohatchee, Ala., having been called there by the illness with influenza of her sister, Miss Mamie D. Bryars, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Bryars, 1321 North Davis Street.  Friends will be glad to know that word was received yesterday that she was somewhat improved. 
 Mrs. Bryars is just convalescing after being quite ill for the past three weeks with influenza. (Source: The Pensacola Journal, Pensacola, Fla., Oct. 27, 1918)

CARSON, EUGENE
Two boys, Eugene Carson and Henry Sloan, of Haynesville, Ala. were monkeying with a pistol, when Sloan was shot through the bowels, seriously wounding him.  Source: Marion County News, Marion County AL, February 18, 1897 - transcribed by Veneta McKinney

ROBINSON, CHARLIE
Charlie Robinson of Lowdensboro was burning a hole in an empty whisky barrel with a piece of iron when an explosion occurred which resulted in Robinson having two ribs broken. (unknown source)
