Although not a religious man for most of his life, he did turn to the Lamb of God in his last hours and found refuge and forgiveness in the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. He passed on a strong work ethic to his children and left a strong example for others to follow in his last decision when he found out that the Lord Jesus Christ saves sinners.
As a business man he was able to recognize a good deal. On his death bed he recognized the best one ever: "The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." He never found opportunity to fly in a plane but his ashes will be scattered from such, fulfilling the promise from dust thou didst come and to dust thou shalt return.
