Marriage Licenses: Judge Ford is doing a fine business in the license line
just now. The matrimonial market seems to hold its own even better than cotton.
We hope that this does not indicate that the demand for marriageable girls
is about to become greater than the supply. Since our last issue eight marriage

On last Thursday a bridal party passed through town. The happy pair had been

of the bride's father at Henson Springs on Tuesday morning, September 28,
in the presence of the friends of the contracting parties. We extend to the
happy couple our best wishes for their welfare. May happiness and prosperity

STANLEY - FEARINGTON
From Detroit - June 11, 1894 - Dr. J. S. STANLEY was married last Wednesday
morning at 7 o'clock to Mrs. FANNIE FEARINGTON at her home in Nesbit, Miss.
there is a tinge of romance in this happy marriage; in their younger days
they were engaged to be married but drifted apart and the Dr. has since been
married twice and his bride once. They each have a daughter and two boys.
They returned Thursday evening and it is with a feeling of pride that Detroit
welcomes this fair and intelligent lady to a home among us. - (Hamilton Free

SHELTON - FRAZIER
Married: At the residence of Dr. M. H. KEY on the 24th ult, Prof. WM. FINLEY
of Florence, and Miss DIXIE KEY of this place. At the same place Mr. WILLIE
SHELTON and Miss KATIE FRAZIER were joined in the holy bans, Judge MATTHEWS
officiating. After the usual ceremony was concluded supper was announced
and all proceeded to the dining room where a bountiful feast was provided
for all present. The crowd then visited the Christmas Tree at the church
to witness the distribution of presents, some of which when handed out brought
blushes to the happy young couples present. Both couples begin their
new life under the most favorable circumstances, followed by the best wishes
of a host of friends and acquaintances and from none more lavishly than from
the writer We can truly say: May the ruler of Hymen look down, And
your lives from evil defend, May you ne'er know adversity's frown, May our

WILL B. FORD and Miss ICY HAMILTON wee married on last Sunday morning at
the residence of Capt. A. J. HAMILTON, father of the bride. The contracting
parties are well favorably known to all our people, who wish for them a life
of prosperity and happiness. The young couple left on Sunday morning
for Washington City where Mr. FORD has a position in one of the departments
