SELF - PALMER

GEORGE PALMER and wife, of near Pikeville, passed through town yesterday en route to his father's a few miles north of here, to attend the marriage of GEORGE'S sister, Miss ANNIE, to Mr. BIRD SELF. - (Hamilton Appeal, Feb. 28, 1896)

SHOTTS - PALMER

Married - At the residence of the bride's grandfather, J. J. PALMER, two miles southwest of Shottsville, on Wednesday, august 25, 1897, W. M. SHOTTS and Miss CLEO PALMER, Rev. JOHN ARNOLD officiating. May their married life be long, happy and prosperous. - (Marion County News, September 2, 1897)

PEARCE - SPRINGFIELD

From Guin: June 25, 1895 - Mr. OSCAR PEARCE and Miss PEARL SPRINGFIELD were married at the Methodist Church last Sunday night, Rev. D. W. WARD, officiating. All join in wishing much joy, long life, and prosperity. -  (Hamilton News Press, June 27, 1895)

Mr. OSCAR V. PEARCE and Miss PEARL SPRINGFIELD, both of Guin, Ala. were united in the holy bands of matrimony the Methodist Church in that town, on the evening of June 23rd, 1895 at 8 o'clock, Rev. D. W. WARD officiating. The church alter was tastefully decorated with beautiful flowers, the audience large and appreciative. Dr. WARD was in his usual pleasant mood, and performed the ceremony in a most impressive manner, using the beautiful ritual prescribed by the discipline of the Methodist church. The groom is one of the popular and rising young men of our neighboring town, while the bride is the amiable and accomplished daughter of Dr. T. J. SPRINGFIELD, a prominent physician of the town. May the future of this happy young couple be one of unalloyed happiness and prosperity. (Hamilton News Press, June 27, 1895)

MCREA - PEARCE

Wedding Bells at Bexar: On last Saturday morning at the little village of Bexar occurred on of Bill Nye's "quiet little wedding without any frills." The happy contracting parties being MR. TID MCREA and Miss SUSIE PEARCE, both of Bexar. The ceremony was performed at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. W. M. PEARCE, by Rev. JOHN ARNOLD, in the presence of the families of the contracting parties, and one or two invited friends. The bride and groom perhaps entertaining the idea that the tying of the silken not and publicly pledging to each other their life-long fidelity and love being an occasion sacred for the public gaze.   The Herald rises to extend congratulations, if in order. May their married life be even brighter than their lovers dreams have pictured for them. May the anniversaries of the day be lengthened out to the gold wedding, and may that time find their happiness as unalloyed and their love far each other as lavish as new. "O, fortunate, O, happy day When a new household finds its place. Among the myriad homes of earth Take a new star just sprung to birth And rolled on its harmonious way Into the boundless realms of space."  Next couple to the front. PERKINS - WILLIAMS

Mr. WILLIS PERKINS and Miss MATTIE WILLIAMS were married at the home of the brides' parents last week. Success to the happy couple. - (Gazette-Appeal, Nov. 26, 1897)

PICKLE - WILLIAMS

From Detroit: April 9 - After Rev. ROBERT WILSON had concluded services at Wesley Chapel last Sunday the audience was surprised when Mr. GEORGE PICKLE and Miss GLO WILLIAMS stepped into the altar and were married in the Rev. WILSON'S pleasing style. The young couple were from Splunge, Miss. and had quietly stolen away from the "old folks at home." While we deeply sympathize with those whom this affair may have displeased, we heartily extend the old time "wish you much joy, etc." - (Hamilton News Press, April 11, 1895)

administrators, and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.
      Sealed with our seals, and dated this 10 day of MAR 1921  The Condition 
of the above obligation is such, that if there be no legal cause to obsturct 
the marriage of EDGAR PLUNKETT and FLORENCE E. CANTRELL to whom a license has 
this day been granted, then to to be void; ese to remain in full force and

PURSER - SANDERSON

H. A. PURSER and Miss LULA SANDERSON were married at the residence of the bride near Bexar, on last Sunday morning in the presence of relatives and friends.  The Rev. J. R. HOLLIDAY performed the ceremony that made them one.  The News extends its best congratulations to the happy couple and wishes for them much happiness through life.  (The Marion County News, Sept 6, 1900)
