WHITEHEAD - RAINS

Marriage license have been issued to Mr. NEWTON S. WHITEHEAD and Miss DELLA RAINS. These contracting parties are both the step-children of Esquire E. VICKERY, but not in the least related to each other. - (Hamilton News Press Oct. 17, 1895 - pg 5)

HARRIS - RAMEY

At the residence of the bride's parents at this place on last Thursday night, Mr. HENRY C. HARRIS and Miss LEILA RAMEY were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. Hon. WALTER H. MATTHEWS, officiating. The groom is one of Hamilton's most moral, sober, and reliable young business men and in his section of a partner for life has acted wisely. Miss LELIA is one of Marion's fairest and most intellectual young ladies. May their lives be one of unalloyed happiness and may their bark on the sea of life never encounter one wave of trouble or disappointment but may it said smoothly across and finally be anchored in that heaven of eternal rest where all if joy and peace. - (Marion Herald, June 27, 1889 - pg 3)

BURLESON - RAWLES

Since our last issue Judge FORD has issued marriage license to the following parties: ...J. B. BURLESON and Miss IDA B. RAWLES. - (Hamilton News Press, Dec 19, 1895 - pg 5)

ARMSTRONG - REID

The wedding bells are swinging preparatory to sending out their merry chimes in this vicinity. Dame rumor says that J. C. ARMSTRONG will lead Miss ICY REID to the altar next Sunday and the writer knows of several who are saying "I wish it was me," but we can only say , do not mourn, your time will come bye and bye. - (Marion Herald, Sept 26, 1889)

RICHIE - LEWIS

There was a quiet wedding at JAMES WIGINTON'S, about a mile from Hamilton, on last Saturday night. The contracting parties were ALEX. J. RICHIE and Miss METTIE LEWIS. We wish the young couple the best of luck for the future. - (Marion County News, July 29, 1897)

MONTGOMERY - RIGGAN

Mr. WALTER MONTGOMERY and Miss NORA RIGGAN were married last Tuesday morning at 7 o'clock at the residence of the bride's father Mr. JESSE RIGGAN; Rev. J. D. CARTER officiating. The groom is Superintendent of a cigar factor in Illinois, and the couple departed immediately for his home in that state. CLIP, April 30, 1894 - (Hamilton Free Press, May 3, 1894)

CARPENTER - RIGGINS

Mr. TOM CARPENTER and Mrs. LUCINDA RIGGINS, both of this county were married on the 1st inst. May the dark clouds of adversity and disappointment never cast a shadow over their happy lives, but may their lives be spent in unalloyed happiness is the wish of the Herald. - (Marion Herald, November 8, 1888 - pg 4)

HOWELL - RODEN

RODEN - SELF

FRANK RODEN and Miss MOLLIE SELF were married by Squire W. T. BURLESON on May 30. We wish the happy couple a pleasant journey over the matrimonial sea. - (Marion County News, June 10, 2011)

RODEN - ARNOLD

Bear Creek - On Sunday evening a wedding took place and Mr. WILLIS RODEN and Miss ELLA ARNOLD were pronounced man and wife at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. J. B. ARNOLD, near Goldmine, the Rev. Mr. OWENS of Winston County officiating. We join their many friends in wishing them a long and happy union. - (Hamilton News Press, April 18, 1895)
