SEEKING HIS RELATIVES - We are in
receipt of a letter from Richard Gunter Johnson, of Shelbyville, Ky
seeking information concerning his relatives. He writes that his parents
died during the war when he was only four years of age. Two elder
brothers, James and Benjamin were in the Confederate army. He further
states that he had thirteen sisters, but can only remember the name of
three of them, Rhoda, Elizabeth and Margaret. Nathan Johnston was his
father's name. Any information concerning the whereabouts of his family
would be gratefully received. Address RICHARD GUNTER JOHNSON,
Shelbyville, Ky. (Hamilton News Press, January 17,
1895)
