T. MORGAN, who was soon able to purchase the nearby Hamilton Appeal.  A united Gazette-Appeal first appeared on August 27, retaining the numbering of the older Hamilton newspaper.  In October, MORGAN sold the Gazette-Appeal to E. L. JONES, who continued it for an undetermined time thereafter with the editorial assistance fo J. W.
