MONTEVALLO BOY'S BODY ENROUTE HOME

Sergeant Albert G. Hudson, Killed in France, Will Be Buried at Montevallo

MONTEVALLO Sept 13--Mrs. M. P. Jeter has been notified that the remains of her brother, Sergeant Albert G. Hudson, who was killed October 21, 1918, in the battle of the Argone-Meuse, are being sent to Montevallo, having left New York at 1:00 a. m., September 22. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church soon after the arrival of the body here.

Sergeant Hudson enlisted as a private in Company G, 15th Infantry, in October 1917. He was promoted to corporal, sent to France in August, 1918 and transferred to Company K, 103 Infantry. He was later promoted to the rank of sergeant.

He was born at Gallion, Alabama, but had lived in Montevallo some years with his sister before joining the army.
