Pop 50. A town and p o on Prince of Wales Island, first settled in 1898, at head of Hetta Inlet, 45 miles w of Ketchikan, the nearest banking point. Sulzer is port of entry for Southeastern Alaska U S Customs House located here. Copper mining is the principal industry. Mail boats semi-weekly to Ketchikan, fare $5.00, weekly to Wrangell, fare $13.50.
