MARRIED,
On Thursday  Feb. 27, by Rev. Charles M. Blake Hon. Hezekiah Brooks to Mrs. Mary C. Lieb, both of Prescott.

There was a scrub horse race in town on the fourth of July.
Tom Maher's horse "Pea-nuts" was the winner. Betting was lively, but not on a large scale, the betting ranging from a bit  to ten dollars.
There was considerable fun, but the pea-nuts at Bower's store went faster than any of the horses.
