ASHLEY COUNTY is located in the southeastern section of the state of Arkansas. It was organized in 1848 and was named for United States Senator Chester Ashley. The county seat is at Hamburg.
THIS COUNTY NEEDS A HOST Genealogy Trails is a new group started in Illinois in 2000 and expanded in 2006 to all fifty states.
