We have learned to love much in this life and we may think that we can't cross that river. The water is to dangerous, the current is to swift and the river to wide but Jesus is there and said he left a bridge at Calvary for us to cross and he would take us by the hand and we will cross the bridge together. On the other side of the river is the city of God, the redeemed of all ages, walls of Jasper, Street of Gold, and the gate of Pearl will be standing open. ---Loved ones will be waiting our coming.---What a day, what an hour, what a victory.---The trials of the race will seem as nothing. When we come to the end of the way." --Transcribed and contributed by Mary Lafferty Wilson |
