Chicot County Arkansas Genealogy Trails --A large flour depot is to be established at Chicot. Source: LITTLE ROCK DAILY REPUBLICAN, September 2, 1873, contributed by Frances Cooley. --A Mr. Laine, living in Chicot County, was bitten on the hand last week by a huge rattlesnake, concealed under a stack of lumber on which he was at work, and which he was attempting to turn over.
