Cairo, IL--JESSIE HILL was born Nov. 26, 1951 in Turrell, Ark. to the union of Isaac and Ruthie Mae Hill, Sr.
Jessie’s last employment was with the former Burkart Foam in
Cairo. He was married to Joyce Bridges-Hill, who preceded him in
death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Rhodesia.
Jessie is survived by six children, Will, Laschina, Omar, Desira,
Kendra, and Betty; three sisters, Betty (Robert), Deborah (Ollie), and
Sharon; four brothers, Isaac (Liz), Fred, Joe and Tyrone. He also
leaves his ex-wife, Cynthia Williams; a close companion, Lee Ester
Logan; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Massie
Funeral Home in Mounds, IL with Pastor Deborah Spillers officiating.
Interment followed in Spencer Heights Memorial Park in Mounds.
Massie Funeral Home in Mounds in charge of arrangements.

Marion, AR--LORENE ULRICH HOOD,
60, of Marion, hostess and cashier at Ramada Inn, died Monday (Jan. 6,
1992) at Johnson-Hobson Nursing Home. Services will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday at Zion Methodist Church in Gordonville, Mo., with burial in
the church cemetery. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home has charge. She
leaves two daughters, Diann Elrod and Beverly Bolden, both of West
Memphis; two sons, Ronald Hood of Bartlett and Charles Hood of Marion;
four sisters, Dorothy Murta and Margie Medlin, both of St. Charles,
Mo., Bernice Quade of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Elsie Eggiman of
Gordonville.; three brothers, Harry Ulrich of St. Louis, Nelson Ulrich
of East St. Louis, Ill., and Melvin Ulrich of Scott City, Mo., and nine

OUIDA V. HURT, 73, of Germantown, TN,
formerly of Crittenden County, AR, died March 29, 2007. Visitation from
6-8 p.m. March 30, and funeral service at 11 a.m. March 31, both at
Roller-Citizens Chapel. Burial in Crittenden Memorial Park, Marion, AR.
