GOLDIE “JANNEY” DELPH,
99, Sarasota, died Feb. 2, 1998. She was born Jan. 30, 1899, in
Faulkner County, Ark., and came to Sarasota 51 years ago from Anderson,
Ind. She was a retired ceramic shop owner. She was a Lutheran.
Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Newman of Clearwater; a sister;
five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several
great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be later in Gaston, Ind. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manasota Chapel, is in charge.

RUTH DORSEY,
88, passed away July 13, 1998. Born Oct. 16, 1909 in Faulkner County,
AR to James and Carrie Glover. She had lived in OKC for 55 years after
coming from Konawa, OK. Ruth was a cafeteria manager for OKC Public
School System for over 20 years. She was a member of Shields Blvd.
Church of the Nazarene where she enjoyed the fellowship of quilting.
Preceded in death by her husband, L.H. Dorsey, Jan. 3, 1978. Survivors
include sons, Larry Dorsey, Jr., Jimmy Dorsey & Charles Dorsey;
daughter, Maxine Morris; brother, Gene Glover; sister, Inez Hall; 10
grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. Services will held 2:00 PM Wed.,
July 15, 1998 at the South Colonial Chapel with interment to follow at
Arlington Memory Gardens. Friends may call for viewing and visitation

KANSAS CITY, MO--
ALMA M. DUDLEY,
88, central Kansas City, died Jan. 22, 1991, at the home. She was born
in Faulkner County, Ark., and had lived in this area since 1945. Mrs.
Dudley owned an apartment house in Kansas City until she retired. She
formerly farmed in Faulkner and Pulaski counties in Arkansas. She was a
member of the New Hope Tabernacle of Faith Church of God in Christ and
its evangelism board and was head mother there.
Survivors include four sons, Lawrence Dudley, St. Louis, Caswell Dudle
y, Kansas City, Kan., Nathaniel Dudley, Shawnee, and Lee Dudley, Kansas
City; three daughters, Rosetta Golding, Roy, Utah, and Helen Carr and
Cressie White of Kansas City; a brother, Andrew Griffin, St. Louis; 30
grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; an d five
great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Faith Mission Church of God
in Christ; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City. Friends may
call for 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Faith Mission church.
