Charlotte Ann was born Nov 8, 1910 near Ozark, Arkansas.  She was the daughter of Jess Perkins and Frankie Ellen Perkins.  She attended the local schools in Barnes, Arkansas and later "The Mountain Crest Girls School" at Mountain Crest, Arkansas.
Charlotte Ann married Guy Harris on Sept 15, 1929.  Charlotte and her husband, Guy, bought a farm and later purchased a sawmill and manufactured hardwood lumber.  In the late fall of 1945 they sold their farm and lumber mill and with three children, daughter, Christian, son Eugene Guy and young daughter, Mary Frances, they moved to Idaho City, Idaho.  By springtime Guy and Charlotte had established a new lumber business on Grimes Creek, the "Guy Harris Lumber Company."  Charlotte was a wonderful wife, a loving mother, and was an inspiring business partner to her husband.
Eventually Guy and Charlotte relocated their lumber business to Gowen Field, Boise.  They moved into their new home on Roosevelt Street.  This move gave Charlotte an opportunity to pursue her heart's desire.  She loved and tenderly cared for her vegetable garden, her flowers and especially her rose garden.  It was as if they knew and flourished bountifully for her.  Charlotte shared with her good neighbors and family and others in need.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Mystic Chapter #81. She was also a member of the Red Rock Christian Church, where she served as a deaconess.  Charlotte frequently visited a local nursing home, taking home-cooked food for the nursing home patients, brightening their day with the food and her visits.

Charlotte will be remembered with love and admiration by her immediate and extended families.  She is also loved by her husband's family, of which she has been a member for 69 years.
Goodbye Ma, we love you.  You made good biscuits.
