MAMMOTH SPRING, ARK--EVERETT MARK WHITMAN,
son of Rev. N. R. and Angie Whitman, was born in Lamont, Iowa on
October 2, 1876 and departed this life April 19, 1957 at Mammoth Spring
at the age of 80 years, 6 months, and 17 days.
In 1899 he was united in marriage to Daisy Shride at Hardy, Ark.
To this union ten children were born, three preceded him in
death. He is survived by his wife of the home, seven children,
Mrs. Willard Johnson, Stanton, Iowa; Mrs. Boyd Anderson, Mammoth
Spring; Russ Whitman, Salem, Mo; Mrs. Howard Newsom, Thayer, Mo; Mrs.
C. E. Spangler, Mexico, Mo; Mrs. Nathaniel Honeycutt, Warm Springs,
Ark; Johnnie Whitman, Dallas, Tx; 29 grandchildren; 24
great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were April 22, 1957 at the Carter Chapel with Rev. Arvest
Lawson officiating. Burial was in the Thayer Cemetery under the
direction of the Carter Funeral Home.

Kansas
City, MO-- RUBY F.
WILLIAMS of Kansas City, passed away Monday, January 20, 2003. Ruby was
born in Fulton County, AR. She lived in Washington State throughout her
early childhood, and later moved back to Missouri. She had lived in
Kansas City since 1939. She was a devoted member of Grace &
Holy
Trinity Cathedral. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Laurel E.
Williams and two sons, Roger Lynn and Gary Alan Williams.
Ruby is survived by two grandchildren, Christopher
Alan
Williams and wife, Rebecca and Jennifer Marie Fantl and husband,
Daniel; daughter-in-law, Charlotte E. Williams; great-grandson, Jacob
Michael Williams; sister, Rita F. Mattson; brother, Charles L. Forester
and wife, Estella; and many other loving family members. --Kansas City

JAMES RAY WILLISON,
son of the late Jess Willison and Eva Gladys Todd Willison, was born
May 21, 1941 in Fulton County, AR and departed this life September 10,
1998 in Mountain Home, AR at the age of 57 years, three months and 20
days.
He was united in marriage August 21, 1965 in Salem, AR to Jane Young.
Survivors include two daughters, Lesa Verdoot and husband, Milton,
Harrison, AR and Carla Inhulsen and husband, Steve, Owosso, MI; three
brothers, Virgil Willison, Thayer, MO, Darrell (some of the survivors
where missing from this account); grandchilden, Robert Verdoot and
Christopher Verdoot, Harrison, AR, and Heath Inhulsen, Owosso, MI; and
several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Salem and a member of the Eagles Club in Thayer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Franklin Joe Willison and one sister, Grace Virginia Willison.
Funeral services were held September 13, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at Carter
Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Erman Croney officiating.
Interment was held at Shiloh Cemetery in Saddle, AR under the
direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., Thayer. --Oregon County
