for Marriage License
KNOW ALL MEN BY
THESE PRESENTS, THAT WE JOHN WALKER as
principal and R. L. JONES as security, are
held and firmly bound unto the State of Arkansas,
for the use and benefit of the Common School Fund
of Grant County, in the penal sum of ONE HUNDRED
DOLLARS, for the payment of which well and truly
to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs,
executors and administrators, firmly by these
presents.

Day of April 1899.
THE CONDITION OF
THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, that whereas, the
above bounden JOHN WALKER has this day
applied to the Clerk of the County Curt of Grant
County for a License authorizing the
solemnization of the rites of matrimony between
the said JOHN WALKER and MRS. SUSAN
BROWN.
NOW, If the said
parties applying for the said License have lawful
right to the same, and if they shall faithfully
carry into effect and comply with the provisions
thereof, and shall within sixty days from the
date hereof, return the said License to the
office of the Clerk of the County Court of said
County, duly executed and officially signed by
some one authorized by law to solemnize the right
of matrimony, then this obligation shall be void,
but otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.

publish the bans of matrimony between Mr. John
Walker of Junet in the County of Grant
and the State of Arkansas, Aged 78
years, and Mrs. Susan Brown of Junet
in the County of Grant and State of Arkansas,
Aged 52 years, according to law; and do
you officially sign and return the License to the
parties herein named.
