ASHEBORO - Gerold William
Welch, 60, of 2135 Stratford Way died Friday at his home. Funeral will be at 4 p.m.
Sunday at Community Baptist Church in Candor. Burial will be in the
church cemetery.
A native of Arkansas, he
was self-employed with A-1 Waterproofing and Roofing. He was an Army
veteran. Surviving are wife, Mrs.
Linda Welch; daughter, Mrs. Diane Weis of Pennsylvania;
stepdaughters, Mrs. Anita Mashburn of Thomasville, Miss Denise
Diggs, Miss Tonya Diggs, both of the home; sons, Lynn Welch of
Asheboro, Jerry Welch, Tommy Welch, both of Mountain City, Tenn.,
Gregg Welch of Thomasville; stepson, Randy Diggs of Raleigh; mother,
Mrs. Elsie Harrison of Arkansas; father, Bulter W. Welch of Seattle;
sisters, Mrs. Wanda Gunn of Paragould, Ark., Mrs. Virginia Tipton of
Arkansas, Mrs. Vonnia Morris of Hot Springs, Ark., Mrs. Wilma Smith
of Anacortes, Wash.; half sister, Mrs. Sheron Breding of Texas.

Cemetery. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He leaves his
wife, Daphine Watson; a daughter, Mrs. Joann Kramer of Belleville,
Ill., two sons, Sonny Watson and Stan Watson, both of St. Louis; his
stepmother, Ellar Watson of Paragould; two stepsisters, Mrs. Wanda
Forsythe of Paragould and Mrs. Frances Maleare of Little Rock, and
six grandchildren.

Morris, Mich., formerly of Paragould, retired auto worker, died
Wednesday at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Mich. Services will be
at 10 a.m. Saturday at Heath Funeral Home with burial in Browns

sons, Jim Dunnigan of Flushing, Mich., and Donald Dunnigan of Swartz
