Marriage Certificate from:
State of Arkansas, County of Hempstead
I, J.T. Lowry, certify that I did on the 6th day of July 1861. Solemnize the right of matrimony between Hillery Powell of the County of Hempstead State of Arkansas aged 19 years and Sarah Ann Landers of the said Co. and State aged 16 years and then and there declare them Husband and wife at the residence of the Bride's father. I further certify that my credentials were duly recorded in the recorder's office of Hempstead County Ark on the day of September 1865. The same is now duly recorded Book M, page 208 given under my said this July 10 1866.
