WELCOME TO LOGAN COUNTY
ARKANSAS GENEALOGY TRAILS
organized March 22, 1871 as the 64th County in Arkansas. It was
originally named Sarber County for John N. Sarber, the State
Senator from Yell County. In 1875 it was renamed after James
Logan, an early settler.
Logan County has two county seats: Paris and Booneville. The courthouse is located on Courthouse Square, Paris, Arkansas 72855. The courthouse phone number is: 479-963-2618.
Dizzy and Paul Dean, major-league baseball players were born at Lucas.
