TRAVIS W. 86, of Carrollton, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at
his home. Mr. Delaney was born Aug. 25,1921, in Nevada County, AR, to
John and Clara Delaney. He was a retired linotype operator, a member of the Church of Christ, and a World War II Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Willie Mae Barnes Delaney. He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Travis and Cynthia of Carrollton, Doug of Dallas, and Ted and Ramona of Flower Mound; five grandchildren: Sam and Matt Delaney of Austin, Jennifer (Mrs. Mike) Hart of Ft. Worth, and Veronica (Mrs. Mario) Rojas and Allie Delaney of Ft. Worth; and five great grandchildren. He also leaves behind one sister and two sisters-in-law Vahnita D. Wilson and Dorothy Grimes of Magnolia, AR, and Amy Sanders of Sherwood, AR. The body will be available for viewing at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton,TX on Wed., Sept. 19. OK--Jerry DE WOODY, 63, passed away Tuesday, July 19 at South Community
Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Colonial Chapel of
Vondel Smith & Sons Mortuary. Born in Nevada County, AR July
21, 1924, he had lived in OKC since 1929, coming from El Dorado, AR. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He began work at the County Clerk office in 1947. In 1979, he was appointed County Clerk, then elected to this position in 1980 and also 1984, and was serving in this capacity at the time of his death. During his tenure as County Clerk, he was secretary to the Board of County Commissioners, the Excise Board and the Board of Equalization. He was a member and 32nd Degree Mason of Myrtle Lodge, Guthrie Consistory, the American Legion and had been active in various other civic organizations. He is survived by his wife, Ginger; 2 sons, Jerry M. of Warr Acres, Vance of OKC; a brother, Thurman of OKC; 4 grandchildren, Timothy, Danton, Cole and Lindsey. City, OK--LETHA CORNELIA HEBISEN, passed away Nov. 5, 1996 at age 90.
She was born in Nevada County, AR. to Jo Cephus Merchant and Mary
Vickers. Letha was the 6th of 11 children. She was an alterations lady
for many years and a founding member of City Church. Letha was preceded
in death by her husband, Wm. Arthur Hebisen on April 7, 1970; also by a
granddaughter, Susan Cardwell in 1967; brothers, Olen, Harmon, Van,
Leonard, Earl, Jess & Claude Merchant; sisters, Etta Van Dyke
& Bess Cochran. Letha is survived by a daughter, Mary
Cardwell-Heathman & son-in-law Robert Heathman of Guthrie; a
sister, Jo Chronister of OKC; grandchildren, Judy Herbert &
husband Tim of Oregon, Jeannie Larson & husband Don of
Washington; great grandchildren, Jamey Cardwell, Seth & Jason
Herbert of Oregon, Lyannae, Ron & Donnie Larson, all of
Washington; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Merchant;
many nieces & nephews. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov.
8, at City Church, 10th & Robinson in OKC, with Pastor Hogue
officiating. Interment will be at Arlington Memory Gardens, 36th
& Midwest Blvd.

Tal Webb of Morris Baptist Church, Morris, AR. Entombment will follow at Hill Crest Mausoleum. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Mrs. Hiett passed away Monday morning at Grace Home. She was born on November 25, 1921 in Nevada County, AR. She was a member of Waller Baptist Church and worked at Rubenstein's for over 20 yeas as a saleslady. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Hiett in May 1999. Surviving her is her daughter, Paula Vick and husband Larry of Lake Worth, FL; brother, M. I. Dillard and wife Beth of Bella Vista, AR; grandchildren, Kathryn Vick and James Robert Vick. Pallbearers will be James Robert Vick, James Larry Vick, Bryan Thomson, Marvin Kendrick, Donald Webb and Couch Dennis. OK--JOSIE EVALENE WHITE, age 91, died Tuesday, April 11, 1989. She was
born March 20, 1898 in Nevada County, AR. She lived in Bethany in the
1930's and returned in 1972 from Norman. Mrs. White was a homemaker and
a member of the Bethany First Church of the Nazarene and the Nazarene
World Missionary Society. She and her late husband, the Rev. W.T.
White, had 52 years of ministry in the Church of the Nazarene as pastor
and evangelist. She is survived by 2 daughters, Louvenia Jellerson and
her husband, Bill of Marysville, WA. and Billie K. and her husband, the
Rev. Sam Stearman of Bethany; and a daughter-in-law, Rozelle White of
Napa, CA.; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her son, W.O. (Whiz) White. Services 11am Friday, Bethany
First Church of the Nazarene with burial in IOOF Cemetery, Norman, Ok.
