Polk County
Organized on November 30, 1844 as the 48th county in Arkansas, Polk County is located in the southwest central area of the state.
It was named for President James K. Polk.  

The county seat is at Mena.

Towns:  Cove ~ Grannis ~ Hatfield ~ Vandervoort
Unincorporated community:  Ink
