Sand Springs, OK.--Lindsey Allene CAMPBELL, age 73, of Sand Springs, died Monday, March 27, 2006, at her home after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 29, 1932 in Searcy County, AR, the daughter of Lindsey Baker and Audrey Trogdon Baker. She graduated from St. Joe High School, St. Joe, AR .
Allene is survived by her husband of over 54 years, Doise. She is also survived by: daughters, Deborah Jean Dorn and husband, Bill, Sand Springs, OK, and Janet McCollough and husband, David, Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Stacy Harris and husband, Dave, Tulsa, Jason Duggan and wife, Brandy, Inola, OK, Ricki Dorn, Tulsa, and Regina Dorn, Tulsa; great-grandchildren, Kinley Harris, Audrey Dorn, and Jayden Duggan; sisters, Oleta Austin, Harrison, AR, Lorene Young and husband, Ralph, Sand Springs, Louella Saul and husband, Eugene, Harrison, AR; brother, Ken Baker and wife, Lou, Harrison, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and by a brother, Herman Baker. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family and enjoyed any family activity, and really took great pleasure in shopping with her granddaughters. She was an avid reader and an avid collector of pretty floral dishes and other collectibles. She retired from McDonnell Douglas after working for them for approximately 15 years.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2006 in the Mobley-Dodson Chapel with Dr. Jerry Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.

Allen, OK--WILLIAM BERNICE HARRINGTON of Allen, died November 29 at a local hospital. He was born May 1, 1905 in Searcy County, AR. He was a retired farmer and rancher. He married Abbie Bell Turney, January 3, 1931 in Holdenville, OK. Survivors are wife, Abbie of the home; 8 children, L.O. and Marilyn Harrington of Moore, OK, Otto and Imogene Harrington of Allen, OK, Loretta and Phillip Legg of Allen, OK, Glen and Jo Etta Harrington of Allen, OK, Charlene and Tommy McFerran of Allen, OK, Lois and Don Meeks of Lancaster, CA, David and Kathy Harrington of Anadarko, OK, Ann and Terry Janda of Allen, OK; 3 sisters, Dottie Trammell of McAlester, OK, Cledith Dockerty of Broken Arrow, OK and Lorene Everett of Apple Valley, CA; 2 brothers, Bernard Harrington of Stewart, OK and Bobby G. Harrington of Bakersfield, CA; 25 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Paschal Harrington and Blaine Harrington and 1 sister, Rhue Wilson. Services will be 2 pm Friday, Dec. 2, 1988 at the Allen Church of Christ. Marshall, AR--HALLEY JOYCE MAGNESS-- Funeral services for Halley Joyce Magness, 5, of Marshall, Ark., were held Friday, Feb. 10, at Roller Coffman Chapel with Glen Griffin officiating. Burial was in Witts Springs Cemetery. Halley died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, as a result of an auto accident at Marshall, Ark. She was born March 13, 2000, in Harrison, Ark., the daughter of Jeff and Faline Magness of Marshall. She was a kindergarten student at Searcy County Elementary School. Halley is survived by her parents, Jeff and Faline Magness; grandmother, Rita Ruff of Marshall; grandfather and step-grandmother, Earl and Bobbie Magness of Lead Hill, Ark.; grandparents, James Huey and Arlene Smith of Zanoni; one brother, Tyler Magness of Marshall; and many aunts, uncles, family and friends.
Pallbearers were Marvin Switzer, Rob Campbell, Bryan Willcutt and Clyde White. Honorary pallbearers were Troy Hendrix, J.W. Hendrix,
Danny Magness, Earl Magness and Tom Wyatt.

Bixby, OK-- LOIS SHIMP, 97, passed from this life on Saturday, April 29, 2006. She was born on April 13, 1909, in Searcy County, AR, to Elmer and Ida Ethridge. She was a graduate of Bixby High School and the Northeastern State Teachers College before beginning a long career as an elementary school teacher. She taught in the schools of Lone Star, Leonard, Liberty Mounds and Bixby. She was a longtime member of the Bixby First United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by: 1 daughter, Patricia Kelly and husband, Ted of Bixby; 1 brother, Basil Ethridge of Bixby; 4 grandchildren, Kathy Hodges, K'Jela Bolton, Linda Vance Small and Brenda Renegar Evans; 7 great-grandchildren, Jared Bolton, Jonathon Bolton, Michael Taylor, Sasha Beard, Charlescee Small, Amanda Renegar and Corey Renegar; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: 2 husbands, Henry Marvin Vance and T.J. Shimp; 1 son, James Henry Vance; and 6 siblings, Cleora Hendrix, Clara Hensley-Alexander, Ruby Henderson, Lawrence, Silas and Frank Ethridge. Service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at the Bixby First United Methodist Church. Private family interment will precede the service. Oklahoma City, OK--WALSA TREAT, 85, passed away May 4, 1996. She was born Feb. 13, 1911 in Searcy County, AR. to Sam & Lizzie Griffin. On Sept. 25, 1927 in Watts, AR. she married Doc Treat, who preceded her in death Jan. 17, 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of Southwood Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Bob Treat of Atwood, Ok. and Jack Treat of Durant, OK.; daughters, Chloe Seamon of OKC, Betty Chandler of Allen, OK. and Gloria Noblitt of Kansas City, KS.; 17 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren & 9 great-great grandchildren.  --Daily Oklahoman, The (Oklahoma City, OK) - May 7, 1996
