CAVE CITY, AR–ZELA V. PUCKETT, 92, of Cave City, died Dec. 10, 2001, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born May 5, 1909, at Sidney, she was the daughter of Joe Clark and Annie Irene Cole Arnold.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cave City First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Lou A. Patton of Little Rock; a daughter-in-law, Joanna Puckett of Little Rock; four granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vern Puckett; and a son, Max Arnold Puckett.
The funeral was Dec. 12 at Cave City First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Strang officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Sidney.
Pallbearers were Alton Dickey, Lee Wigginton, Mike Wallace, Duaine Anderson, J. T. Head and Paul Wesley Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were Austin P. Wallace and Greg Case.
