TAYLOR, FRED
THOMPSON, DAVID M.

CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH
–FRED TAYLOR, 85, died Sept. 22, 1994. Born in Sharp County,
Ark., Fred had been an area resident for over 50 years. He retired from
Goodyear in 1972 with over 26 years of service, and was a member of the
Portage County Coon Hunters Club.
Surviving are daughters, Sarah Dial and Donna Weisner, both of Cuyahoga
Falls, Ellen McRobie of Plant City, Fla., and Sandy Carte, also of
Cuyahoga Falls; sons, Orrville of Creston and Bob of Reno, Nev.; 26
grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours TODAY, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the
Dunn-Quigley-Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home in STOW (corner of Route
59 and 91), where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.
Interment at Crown Hill Burial Park in Twinsburg. --Akron Beacon

TN–DAVID M. THOMPSON, age 77, died January 9, 2001,
at Baptist Hospital. Mr. Thompson was born in Williford AR on December
10, 1923. He was a retired district manager for International Shoe
Machine Corp. Mr. Thompson was a member of John B. Garrett Masonic
Lodge No. 711. His passing brings to close the 48-year marriage to his
devoted wife, Evelyn M. Thompson. Son, David Louis Thompson stepson,
Ralph Edward Key seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren
also survive him. Mr. Thompson has one surviving half brother, Albert
Jerome 'Jerry' Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents,
Hollis and Matti Pearl Thompson; brothers, Fenner 'Boots' Thompson,
Charles 'Buddy' Thompson; sisters, Elizabeth 'Betty' Thompson Grover,
Dorothy Thompson Gilliam; son, Larry Griffin Thompson. Visitation will
be 10 A.M.-9 P.M. Thursday at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral services
will be 1 P.M.
Friday, January 12, 2001, in the Woodlawn Chapel of Roses. Pallbearers
will be family and friends. Arrangements by WOODLAWN FUNERAL HOME.
