PEKIN, IL -- TROY WAYNE BARNUM, 70, of 206 Cooper died at 12:05 a.m., Friday, April 19, 1996, at Pekin Hospital.
Born Sept. 7, 1925, in Bee Branch, Ark., to Chester and Dallas Vest Barnum, he married Mildred Presley on Sept. 21, 1946.
Surviving are three sons, Charles of Creve Coeur, Jack of Green Valley and Alan of Pekin; three daughters, Kathie Barnum, Karen Sidell and Linda Tindall, all of Pekin; his father of North Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Dave of Stone County, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Herb (Betty) Garrison of Pekin, and Mrs. Lynn (Hazel) Cunningham and Mrs. Farrell (Faye) Pierce, both of North Little Rock; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His mother and his stepmother, Annie Pierce, preceded him in death.
He worked at Corn Products Corp. in Pekin for 30 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of Pekin Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Services will be Monday in Morganton, Ark.
Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Ark., is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Colony Cemetery in Morganton. Local arrangements are by Abts Mortuary.
