Memorial services for Brenda Gunn Agliana, were held Friday December 6,
2002 in Clovis, Calif. Survivors are her husband, David and two sons, Jonathan
Agliana of Calif. and Trent Roberts of Lexington, Tn.; one grandson, Ethan
Roberts of Lexington, Tn.; mother, Ellen Helton of Jackson, Tn.; father,
James Gunn of Medina, Tn.; sisters, Dorothy Acuff, Shelia Butler and Karen
Rose, all of Jackson, Tn.; brother, Darryl Gunn of Clifton, Tn.;
grandmothers, Betty Trull of Jackson and Sue Gunn of Medina, Tn.; numerous nieces and
nephews. She will be loved and missed by many.

CHURCH, FIERMAN

Fresno CA. Dec. 18,1899.

Fierman Church, aged 73 yrs, died in this city today from a complication of ailments. He was a practicing attorney in Chicago before coming West, being associated with Lyman Trumball. He lived in LaPorte and Valparaiso, IN. for years, and represented his district in the legislature. He came to Los Angeles in 1885, afterward removing to Fresno, and was district attorney for 4 years, and for 2 years at the same time ex-officio mayor of this city as chairman of the city trustee. Surviving here are the widow and 1 son, beside his daughters Mrs. C.A. Harding, of Chicago, and Mrs. Sarah A. Fisher, of Lansing Mich. Indiana State Journal Submitted by Barb Z.

SOLEDAD, AN OLD INDIAN
An Indian over 100 years old, named Soledad, died Friday, near Fresno, Cal. He was a native of Old Mexico. He used to be a scout in the Mexican Army and as such came to California before the State passed into the hands of the United States. For the last forty years he has lived near Fresno, and a few days before his death walked a distance of forty miles. Salt Lake Tribune, Oct. 28, 1893. Submitted by Robyn Greenlund.
