San Bernardino was named on May 20th,
1810 by Father Francisco Dumetz.
San Bernardino County was formed from part of Los
Angeles County in 1853 and in 1893, it gave some away to
Riverside County.
San Bernardino County is the largest county in the
whole United States. It is larger than nine of the
states!
Located in the southeast portion of California, it is
made up of deserts and mountains. Quite diverse
landscape!
Population from the 2010 census topped 2,035,210!
