CA Genealogy Trails

These pictures where taken from a walk way (bridge) on the California side in 2006.
Then a peace officer informed us that it is illegal to stand on the bridge and take photo's.
We did not cross the border. The border difficulties made it a little to danger to take a 10 year over.

At one time Southern California was in Mexico; Today, this is how the two places are separated.

Less than 20 miles south of downtown San Diego lies the international border crossing between CA and Tijuana, Mexico.

You are at the border crossing in San Diego County, California for ..... Tijuana, Mexico!

First you must decide if you want to drive across, take the bus or walk across.
(You can always jump the fence!) 

It's Time to come back home.... You can wait in this line for up to 4 hours......
