    Noodle Soup Tomato Soup

 

Noodle Soup-Make soup stock, and strain clear. Make noodles with one beaten eggs, add seasoning of salt and pepper and grate of nutmeg. Work on floured board until smooth. Cut a small portion and roll thin as a wager. Cut in fancy shapes and cook in the boiling stock for forty minutes. Serve Hot.

Tomato Soup-Add a one pint can of tomatoes in quart of stock and one half of a cupful of rice. Simmer gently for an hour, press through a sieve. Season with salt and pepper and one teaspoon of sugar. Serve with crutons.
