| MARRIED AT
CONEJOS The marriage of Mr. Harry Winters
and Miss Libbie C. Case occurred at Conejos on Monday morning in the
presence of a number of friends of both contracting parties from
this city, among whom were Mr. E.E. Martin, Miss Burns, Mrs.
Scomberger, Mrs. Case, Mr. J. Frank, Mrs. H. Dalton, and Mr. D.
O'Connel. The entire party included Mr. Winters and Miss Case, left
here on Sunday morning and were on the train which ran off the track
between Walsenburg and La Veta. None of the party sustained any
injury, although they were subjected to considerable inconvenience
by the delay, and did not reach Alamosa until Monday morning. Mr.
Winters and wife will make their home at Conejos, as Mr. Winters
connection with D. & R.G. will compel him to remain at the southern
end of the road. The remainder of the party returned to Colorado
Springs on the evening yesterday.
