BAPTISMS BY REV. J. M. HAYMAN

The following is a partial list of those baptized by Rev. Jeremiah M. Hayman during his ministry, showing where and when. Some of these, we will see, were baptized like the Ethiopian eunuch, by the wayside, because in those days organized Churches were scattering and far between. Many of these baptized in his early ministry doubtless have gone to their reward, but it will be a matter of interest to their children to know by whom and where their parents were baptized. He baptized a good many Negroes in his early ministry, and these doubtless comprise the most of those whom he baptized, whose names do not appear in this list. (Above introduction and the following listing was taken from A Memorial Sketch of the Life and Ministerial Labors of Rev. J. M. Hayman by Owen Judson Frier, 1901)
