Tampa Tribune - 21 July 1904 Plant City , July 20. – Died Friday night last, at the residence of W. E. Walker, J. N. Roberts, of typhoid fever. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Roberts, father and mother, were with him when the summons came. The remains were shipped to Guilford for internment. Mr. Roberts, who has been at Plant City for the past year and a half, was in all respects an exemplary young man and had many firm friends in town. The sorrowing parents and the family have the deep sympathy of the community.

Funeral services for Walter F. Rundle, 55, of Sulphur Springs were held yesterday afternoon, from the chapel of B. Marion Reed. The Rev L. M. Broyles officiated. The body will be sent today to Nashville Tenn.
