MR. AND MRS. L. M. SHEROUSE
-- MARRIED FIFTY YEARS --
Mr. and Mrs. Sherouse of 213 Second Street observed their 50th wedding anniversary quietly July 2nd at their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Sherouse were married at Citra, Fla., in 1894 and moved to Ft. Myers in 1914. They have six living
children, Mrs. Dorthoy L. Heath of Royal Palm Avenue, Maj. Kenneth B. Sherouse of Miami, now stationed in the Hawiian
Islands; R. Le Roy Sherouse of West Palm Beach; Mrs. J. F. Jeffcoatt,Jr. of Cleveland Avenuse; Mrs. L. J. Moriarty
of Alexandria, La; Carlisle Sherouse of Fort Myers; and one son who is dead; L. Edgar Sherouse. Their two great-grandchildren
are Sonny and Penny Peoples. Their grandsons who are in the service are
First Lt. Robert L. Heath Jr stationed in Texas and recently returned from overseas; Cpl. L. J. Jeffcoa, III, serving
in the Pacific; Kenneth B. Sherouse, serving with the Marines in the Pacific; L. J. Moriarty Jr. attending a Naval
radio school at Galveston, Tex.; Philip R. Peoples , P.O. Box 3-C, Jacksonville. Mrs Sarah A. Smith, 86 years of
age, makes her home with her daughter, Mrs. Sherouse.
