Marion County, Florida Newspaper Data Anniversary and Party Stories Happy Anniversary Fifty years and two days later, Janelle and Lewis Sherouse were cutting a three-tiered cake decorated in white and yellow celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. The couple, who now live in the McIntosh area, were married on Sept. 7, 1956 in Coconut Grove. Friends helped celebrate their milestone anniversary at the McIntosh United Methodist Church's 121st Anniversary Ice Cream Social. A family celebration is planned later.
