Big Revival Brings Good Results at Baptist Church
Baptist Revival Closed Last Night
The revival at the First Baptist Church came to a close last night, and on every hand were heard remarks that great good had been accomplished, many new members having been received into the church and the membership generally was uplifted and spiritually benefited. During the meetings sixty-one additions were made to the church membership. Last night Rev. Martin preached a strong sermon which was heard by a large congregation, the church and gallery being filled and chairs were necessary in the aisles to accommodate the large number who gathered to hear this eloquent divine. Rev. Martin left last night and he carried with him the love and esteem of the hundreds of bearers, who flocked to hear him daily, and who were edified and strengthened by his splendid discourses.
