Kryn Marinus Gast, 66, of the Carpenter’s Home, died yesterday afternoon at the home. He was a native of Holland and came to the U.S. in 1923. He moved to the Carpenter’s Home from Patterson, N.J., 18 months ago. Mr. Gast was a retired carpenter, and a member of the Sixth Reformed church of Patterson. He is survived by one brother, Reolf Gast, Amsterdam, Holland. Funeral services will be announced by Thornton Funeral Home.

Rites for Mr. Gast Funeral services for Kryn Marinus Gast, who died Tuesday at the Carpenter’s Home, will be held in Patterson, N.J., with burial in Paramus. Thornton Memorial Home, in charge of arrangement here, said today.

HENRY H. GRIMES

WINTER HAVEN – Hnery H. Grimes, 77 of 501 1/2 Avenue G, SE, Winter Haven, died in Winter Haven General Hospital last night after a long illness. He was a native of Boston, Mass. Mr. Grimes lived in Peoria, Ill., until 1941 when he moved to Lakeland. He later moved from Lakeland to Winter Haven. He was a member of the Episcopal Church and a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Peoria Chapter AF and AM and Chicago Scottish Rite Temple. He was a World War I veteran and a retired real estate agent. He is survived by his wife, June K. Grimes; one son, Stephen H. Grimes, Bartow; and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Whidden Funeral Home of Bartow.

Rites for MRS. GRUBBS

WINTER HAVEN – Services for Mrs. Mary Margaret Grubbs, 46, of 1139 S. Rifle Range Road who died Thursday night at Lakeland General Hospital, will be held at the Ott-Laughlin Funeral Chapel at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon with the Rev. H. T. Ward, pastor of the 40th Street Baptist Mission, Innwood, officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.

RONALD J. GUNTER

Ronald J. Gunter, eight week old son of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Gunter, Highland City, died yesterday morning at his home.
He is survived by his parents, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Walker, Plant City and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Allie Gunter, Nashville, Ga.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock at the chapel of Thornton Memorial Home and burial will be in Oak Hill Burial Park.
