Gerald Winston Kimball, 47, of 44 Sunridge Drive, Ridge Manor, died last night at Lakeland General Hospital after an illness of several weeks. He was a native of Lewiston, Maine, and came to Lakeland from Maine six years ago. He was development supervisor of Ridge Manor, a member of the Masonic Lodge of Trilby, and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ferne M. Kimball; two sons, Merrill, serving in the U.S. Navy, and Gerald, serving in the Marine Corps; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Kimball of Clermont; and two brothers, H. F. Kimball of Pembroke, Mass, and Kermit of Hingham, Mass. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Thornton Memorial Home chapel, with burial to be announced later. The family has requested that flowers be omitted.

Funeral services for Gerald Winston Kimball, of 44 Sunridge Drive, Ridge Manor, who died Thursday evening, were held yesterday afternoon in the chapel of Thornton Memorial Home. The Rev. William B. Mundy officiated. Burial was to be at a later date.

Rites for MR. KILGORE
AUBURNDALE – Services for James Buren Kilgore, 55, who was found dead in an orange grove north of Auburndale on Dec. 19, were held Friday at the graveside at Auburndale Memorial Park, with the Rev. James R. Thompson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Auburndale, officiating. Kilgore is survived by three sisters, Mrs. John L. Sullivan of Jacksonville; Mrs. J. C. Molley of Prichard, Ala; and Mrs. Lucille Pittman of Houston; four brothers, Charles and Roy of Winfield, Ala., Lester of Vayton, Ore., and Frank of Fayette, Ala. Kersey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

RITES FOR MISS KING Funeral services for Miss Katherine T. King, 85, of 310 Interlachen Parkway, who died Tuesday, were held Friday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Corkery officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Burial Park. Pallbearers were William LaLonde, Herbert Dittman, Anthony Baumann, William C. Grimm, O. T. Bredeken and William DeGroot. Heath Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
