Mrs. Harriet Long

Mrs. Harriet Long passed away Sunday at the Watkins Memorial Hospital in Ellijay. She was 95 years old. Mrs. Long was the widow of a Civil War Veteran. She was married to Mr. George Long who preceeded her in Death 35 years ago.

She is survived by four sons; Mr. Floyd Long, Talking Rock, Route Two; Mr. Clifford Long, Calhoun; Mr. Bluford Long, Dalton; Mr. Blaine Long, Dalton; one daughter, Mrs. Daisy Cronnon, Morganton; 30 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. form the Stock Hill Baptist Church in Fannin County, with Rev. Rance Cane and Rev. Jud Bailey officiating, interment was in the Church cemetery. Cagle Funeral Home of Jasper, GA. was in charge of arrangements.
