Atlanta, Aug. 9 ~ Information reached here today from Fannin County, near the Tennessee line, of a double murder Friday afternoon.
Hezekiah Arp and Wm. Bramblett quarreled about a yoke of oxen. Arp shot and killed Bramblett. A brother of Baramblett ran to his aid
and Arp shot and mortaily wounded him, Arp then escaped. The murderer is a son of J. A. Arp a prominent citizen of the county and a nephew
of the original "Bill Arp", a name made famous as the nom de plume by the Georgia humorist, Col. C. H. Smith of Cartersville.
