Arnold Dobbins

Arnold Dobbins, 73, of Peoria died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, May 1, 1994, at his residence.

Born May 12, 1920, in Farner, Tenn., to John and Maggie Cottor Dobbins, he married Pauline Crumley on March 25, 1942, in Chatsworth, Ga. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Eddie of Oak Lawn; six daughters, Mrs.

Jerry (Juanita) Gain of Farmington, Margaret Coyne, Jan Dobbins and Judy Gruber, all of Peoria, Carol Dobbins of Pekin and Lynnette Sternberg of Tremont; one brother, Hobert of East Peoria; and seven grandchildren. One daughter, Sharon Patricia Dobbins; two brothers; and two sisters preceded him in death.

He was a Baptist minister in the Peoria area for many years.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery near Hanna City.
