H. W. "Bobby" Edwards H. W. "Bobby" Edwards, 66, a minister, died Tuesday, May 5, 1998, at home. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Church of God of the Union Assembly. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. H.W. "Bobby" Edwards was born Jan. 28, 1932, in Chatsworth, Ga. He was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grand-children. But the love of his life was "the 12th Rose" and his Lord. Survivors: His wife, Gladys Edwards of Fort Worth; sons, Ricky Edwards and Robert Edwards, both of Fort Worth, and Jesse Edwards of Lenoir City, Tenn.; daughters, Rebecca Edwards and Kathy Lopez, both of Fort Worth, Deborah Walden of Whigham, Ga., Diana Newby of Knoxville, Tenn., and Alma Repass of Harlon, Ky.; brothers, Charlie Edwards of Fort Worth and Johnnie Edwards of Mableton, Ga.; 28 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, Carroll Walden, Glenda Edwards, Robert Newby, Donna Edwards, Jerry Lopez and James Repass; and numerous other family members and friends.
