Richard Hunter

Mr. Richard Hunter, 68, of McEntire Circle, Chatsworth, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at his residence.

He graduated from the Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Maine, with the class of 1955. He drove a truck for 42 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, June and George Hunter; brother John Hunter; son Richard (Rickey) Hunter Jr.

Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife, Sandra Hunter of the residence; children Bruce Hunter of Waterville, Maine, David Hunter of Shawmut, Maine, Connie Nickerson of Fairfield, Marsha Whitehead of Chatsworth, Scott Paradis of Clinton, Maine, and Mark Paradis of Forest Grove, Ore.; brothers George Hunter Jr. of Benton, Maine, and Peter Hunter of Fairhope, Ala.; sisters Betty Maddocks of Fairfield, Evelina Guenther of Metholadin, Va., Harriet Violette of Winslow, Maine, Pamela Libby of Norway, Maine; grandchildren, Garrett Hunter, Sarah Gallagher, Nicholas, Tyler and Michael Hunter, Erika, Jamie and Whitney Nickerson, Felecia and Carrie Paradis, Matthew Clifford, all of Maine, Shiana and Leah Paradis of Oregon, Matthew and Megan Whitehead, Will and Damien Hunter of Georgia; four great-grandchildren, Carl, Nicoreece, Brian and Blane Hunter; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fairfield United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday.

The family ask that flowers please be omitted and donations be made to the Center Valley United Methodist Church, Chatsworth.
